What After Education?
Optional Practical Training (OPT)
Once a student finishes their classes in the USA, they will be provided with Optional Practical Training (OPT) for 12 months.
STEM Extension: Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) fields can extend their OPT for an additional 24 months, totaling 36 months.
Career Path in USA
While on OPT, students can seek full-time employment and convert their OPT into an H-1B visa.
With the OPT and H-1B visa, students can live and work in the USA for up to 6 years.
Students can keep renewing their H-1B visa and later apply for a Green Card, which is the Permanent Residency (PR) for the USA.

Stamp 1G (Post Study Work Visa)
Right after completion of classes, students can apply for Stamp 1G visa which allows them to stay in Ireland and find employment.
Duration:

- • Undergraduate students: 1 year
Career Path in Ireland
During Stamp 1G visa period, students can search for appropriate employment opportunities.
Upon finding suitable employment, students can apply for a Stamp 1 visa to work with an approved employer.
After 2 years of stay in Ireland, students can apply for Permanent Residence (PR) under Stamp 4 visa.

Right before completion of classes, students can apply for a Graduate visa wherein they can stay in UK for 2 Years and find the right job.
PhD Extension: PhD holders can stay for an additional year, totaling 3 years on the graduate visa route.

During their Graduate Visa route, if students find appropriate job, they can apply for a Skilled worker visa.
With a Skilled worker visa, one can work with an approved employer and stay in UK for the duration of that visa.
After 5 years of stay in UK, one can apply for PR (Permanent Residence).

After working in 3 Years in Canada, one can apply for a Canadian permanent residence. In order to obtain a Canadian Permanent Residence student should have a work offer from one of the Canadian Employer.
